Career Counselling

Career Counselling

Throughout their university experience students are paired with academic advisors who serve as mentors helping them to chart a way to fulfil their career goals. Some students need a little more help as they start the university without a clear career goal.

Students can reach out to the Coordinator of Student Services (using the button below) for professional assistance with identifying their natural gifts and talents, their passion and purpose. The staff of the department will help students with exercises, assessments and readings to guide them through the necessary steps to identify the right careers for themselves and to start building the right foundations for those careers.

The department also helps students prepare for their first job interviews by improving their abilities to write convincing application letters and by helping them to practice answering difficult questions in job interviews. These support services culminate in an annual Job Fair organized by the Department of Student Affairs in which students get to apply for several job openings from an array of employers who come on campus to interview many students for a series of job vacancies. Employers actually get to employ students to fill the vacancies they have and students get the chance of finding a job in one day. The department of student affairs conducts practice interviews in the weeks leading up to the job fair to help students excel in their interviews.
