Debate Club

The Debate Club is designed to promote collegiate debate and to teach students the requisite skills to be able to participate. Students hone their public speaking, analytical and argumentation skills. The club organizes practice debates among members and friendly debates between members of the club or between the club and teams from the community or other tertiary institutions. To promote debate the club, from time to time, does mentor high school debate teams. Team members also organize fund raisers and social activities to build rapport and Esprit de corps among the club members. All students with cumulative grade point averages and a desire to improve their analytical or public speaking skills are welcome to join by filling the form, using the button below:
